The new 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera delivers more of the same, with some subtle improvements here and there, reports MotorWeek in a new review. From looks to ride quality to cockpit amenities, this new 911 is Porsche at its finest. Click "play" in the video clip below to watch the full report.
Not only are all Porsches turbos now, they are also all dual clutches. Even the seven-speed manual gets a new twin-disc clutch that MotorWeek says feels great. The engine is still a flat-six cylinder, now just 3.0-liters; but with a pair of turbos, ratcheting output up to 370 horsepower. That’s a 20 hp increase from last year, and 90 more hp than the original 911 Turbo. And it still revs way past 7,000 RPM using 13-psi of boost to whip up 331 lb-ft. of torque.
