Performance
The 2024 Porsche Taycan is a smooth all-electric performer. Its base powertrain offers up to 321 horsepower with a 79-kWh battery pack and rear-mounted motor, while an available 93-kWh battery and dual-motor powertrain boost output to 429 horsepower for the 4S trim.
The Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT offer strong electric performance, with the e-tron GT offering 469 horsepower and the RS e-tron GT delivering 590 hp. The Porsche Taycan is available with higher output, however, with the available Turbo S trim outperforming Audi with up to 616 horsepower, or up to 750 for short periods using Overboost Mode.
On a full charge, the 2024 Porsche Taycan offers more electric range than its counterparts from Audi. The Taycan can travel from 270 miles to 320 miles on one charge, while the Audi e-tron GT lineup maxes out at 249 miles of range.
Comfort
Both the Porsche Taycan and the Audi e-tron GT are performance-oriented models, giving you driver-centric cabin layouts for an engaging drive. The Taycan offers more standard interior volume than Audi’s e-tron GT models, with standard seating for four and 17.2 cubic feet of cargo space. The Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT come with an extra rear seat and only 11 cubic feet of cargo room, making for a more cramped experience for passengers.
